“Take photos with your digital camera and tag with GPS location data collected by your iPhone”
The Trackcorder app for iPhone allows you to capture GPS location information for digital photos that are taken with your non-GPS digital camera. You can record your movements and use these track to geotag pictures. You can view your tracks in a map or export the tracks and use the tracks for geo tagging with other applications that can import KML or GPX file formats. Import GPX and/or KML data into the following software products: Aperture, Garmin Basecamp, Trail Runner, Google Earth and others. Trackcorder will allow recording while in background (on supporting devices).
Using the free software “Trackcorder Assistant” for the Desktop (Mac and Windows), you can later add the captured locations to your photos.
